Mountain Extreme Terms and Conditions
When enrolling in a class or as a member of Mountain Extreme Sports Llc, Dubai, you agree to the terms and conditions as laid out below.
Drop-In and YCP classes
While we endeavour to deliver all our classes on time and as advertised, classes are subject to change or cancellation without notice. Mountain Extreme Sports Llc, is not liable to refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind for sessions or classes that are late, changed or cancelled for any reason.
Instructors are subject to change without notice.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before Drop-In start time or class as late entry is discouraged and cannot be guaranteed. For security reasons late entrance to a class will not be accepted. Leaving class early without a medical reason is strongly discouraged.
Please check in at reception before each Drop-In/class.
Mountain Extreme Sports Llc has the right to refuse entry at anytime.
Bookings are to be made via the Member app, or website or at reception.
Bookings are not be accepted via phone, email or social media.
To book into a Drop-In or class you must either have credits in your account or pay at the time of booking. Drop-In or Class payment must be made upon booking.
All bookings are done on a first come fist served policy.
You agree that you have been examined by a qualified medical practitioner within the past six months and have been found by such practitioner to be in good physical health and physically able to perform all climbing exercises.
Drop-In or classes at Mountain Extreme Sports Llc. may be physically strenuous and you voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is risk of personal injury, property loss or death. You must sign the e-waiver accepting those risk in order to be allowed in the climbing area.
You will follow all instructions given to you by Mountain Extreme Sports Llc Instructors and you acknowledge that any failure to do so will be at your own risk and may cause injury.
Mountain Extreme Sports Llc is in no way liable for any injury, loss of property or death resulting from attending our wall.
Mountain Extreme Sports Llc reserves the right to refuse access or entry to any person to it’s premises or to participate in any of its classes for any reasonable cause, including but not limited to, misconduct or intoxication or on medical grounds or failure to comply with these Term and Conditions.
Classes must be booked no later than 2hrs before the start of the class
Drop-In Sessions
Drop In Sessions are available for non-members during specific times
Drop In Sessions are open to 18 years-old and above only
Minimum age for Drop-In session is 14 years-old (with parental waiver)
Drop In sessions bookings are non-refundable, non transferable, and non exchangeable
Drop in sessions booking follow regular booking rules
All Drop In Sessions clients must attend a mandatory safety induction at the beginning of their session
A Drop In Session is valid only from the time slot booked until closing time.
If you wish to belay or lead climb during a Drop In Session, you and your partner must book for a belay test before the session
Drop In Session attendees get complimentary use of a harness and shoes for the duration of the session
FACE card holders
On presentation of a valid FACE card, clients who buy a Drop-In session will receive a 50% discount
COVID-19 Restrictions
By purchasing any of the services offered by Mountain Extreme Sports Llc you agree to observe any COVID-19 restrictions as per our Covid-19 policy.
Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policy is in place to ensure everyone has a chance to attend.
Cancellations can be made via the Glofox App
Cancellations can be made up to 1 hour before the class start time without incurring a loss.
Drop-In cancelled before the 1hr deadline can be reschedule within 7 days of the date of purchase.
Students who book into a class but fail to attend will forfeit their class.
Cancellations will not be accepted via phone, email or social media.
Mountain Extreme Llc reserves the right to modify or cancel a class at any time.
Cancellation of any upfront payment for a class, course or membership is not permitted and the amount paid is non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances, a request may be considered at the management discretion, an administration fee of AED50 will be charged.
Fees and Payments
Climbing/Bouldering Experience Sessions and Memberships are non transferable.
Unused sessions and Memberships are non-refundable.
Discounts are only granted upon receipt, or presentation of a valid discount card document.
Mountain Extreme Llc reserves the right to review prices and conditions at any time.
Memberships
Memberships are personal to the member and are non-assignable, non-transferable and non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances a transfer will be considered at the discretion of the management; however an administration fee will be applicable. A member may not loan his/her membership to be used by a third party.
Group memberships
Group Membership starts on the date of sign-up
Corporate discounts do not apply to Group Membership
Group Members cannot be swapped or removed
Group members must be above 18 years-old
Members are required to climb with their own Petzl harness and their own climbing shoes. We do not lend or rent climbing equipment or shoes outside of private groups, Drop-In or Climbing sessions.
Termination of Membership
The management may terminate the membership of any member:
a. Without notice and with immediate effect if a member’s conduct, whether or not such conduct is the subject of complaint by another member or members, is such that in the reasonable opinion of the Management, it is harmful to the character and/or interests of Mountain Extreme Sport Llc.
b.Without notice and with immediate effect if Mountain Extreme Sport Llc is of an opinion that the member shall have committed any breach of the ‘Rules & Regulations’ or Covid-19 Policy in place.
c. If a member is rude , aggressive or in any way disrespectful to another member or to any of the Mountain Extreme Sport Llc employees, this includes foul/bad language.
e. Upon notice in writing, if Mountain Extreme Sport Llc is of the opinion that the member is not a suitable individual for continued membership at Mountain Extreme Sport Llc.
f. If a member is found to have violated the privacy of any other member or are caught in lewd or compromising actions, this includes ignoring or disrespecting the UAE's religious and cultural values.
A member whose membership is terminated by Mountain Extreme Sport Llc shall forfeit all the privileges of membership with immediate effect without claim of any refund of their membership dues, other than any monthly membership dues paid in advance.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers / cards can be exchanged for the service they were bought only.
Gift vouchers / cards are non-transferable and have to be used as full payment. No change will be given.
Gift vouchers / cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
Gift vouchers / cards are not cheque guarantee, credit, debit or charge cards.
Gift vouchers / cards are valid for 12 months from date of purchase.
Gift voucher packages are subject to offer availability excluding event dates and UAE Holidays.
All bookings are subject to availability and booking terms & conditions apply.
Mountain Extreme will not be held liable for vouchers / cards which have been lost or stolen.
Birthday F&B
- Offer valid only on the actual birthday of the member.
- Not exchangeable, non transferable, no cash value
- Offer might change depending on coffee shop stock availability
Classes and Sessions Etiquette
Please wear suitable gym clothing, denim is not permitted and climbing shoes should be worn at all times.
Please do not consume food or chew gum within the matted environment.
Please use the storage provided for bags etc – they are not permitted on the matted floor. Members are responsible for their own belongings whilst visiting.
Mobile phones are not permitted whilst climbing or during a class.
Foul and abusive language, bullying and abusive behavior towards staff and other clients will not be tolerated.
All equipment must be treated with respect.
You may not participate in a class when under the influence and/or impaired – this includes medication.
Only our instructors are permitted to train members at the wall.
Clients must keep their personal contact details up to date at all times. Any changes should be made to the members’ area of our booking system.
Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is not permitted.
If you have any health concerns, please consult a doctor.
Entrance to a class may be refused should you arrive after the warm up has been completed.
We reserve the right to stop a member’s ability to be able to pre-book classes if the member persistently does not show up.
